It features a combination of seasoned ground beef, beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and taco spices, giving it a delicious and slightly spicy taste. Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 (16-ounce) can chili beans (with liquid)
  • 1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans (with liquid)
  • 1 (15-ounce) can whole kernel corn (with liquid)
  • 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 (14.5-ounce) cans diced tomatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 1 (4-ounce) can diced green chile peppers
  • 1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning mix

Step 1: Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until it is browned. After browning, let the beef rest while you drain excess grease.

Step 2: Ingredients: In the slow cooker, combine the rest of the ingredients: the beef you browned, onion, chili beans, kidney beans, corn, tomato sauce, water, diced tomatoes, green chile peppers, and taco seasoning mix.

Step 3: Cooking: Once everything is in the slow cooker, give it a good mix to combine all the ingredients. Cook on the low setting for 8 hours.

Suggestion: This taco soup is great on its own; however, you can add crushed tortilla chips/sour cream/shredded cheese to add more texture and flavor. Avocado slices also help add a nice creaminess to the soup.
