“OMG this tastes just like the treats we got a kids!”

This Orange Push Pop Pudding captures the refreshing and creamy essence of the classic frozen treat in a delightful, easy-to-make pudding form. With vibrant orange jello, smooth vanilla pudding, and fluffy whipped topping, it’s a light, citrusy dessert that’s perfect for a warm day or a nostalgic indulgence.

Ingredients:

1 (3 oz) Orange jello (box)
1 cup Boiling water
½ cup Cold water
1 (3.4 oz) Instant vanilla pudding mix (box)
2 teaspoons Fresh orange zest
1 (8 oz) tub Frozen whipped topping, thawed
Additional whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Orange slices, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare Jello Base: In a large bowl, combine the 1 (3 oz) box orange jello and 1 cup boiling water. Whisk vigorously until the jello has fully dissolved. Then, stir in the ½ cup cold water.

Initial Chill: Refrigerate the jello mixture for 12 minutes. This slight chill helps it set enough to create the desired pudding consistency later.

Add Pudding Mix: Remove the jello mixture from the fridge and stir in the 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Second Chill & Mix-Ins: Refrigerate the mixture for 15 more minutes. After this second chill, remove it from the fridge and mix in the 2 teaspoons fresh orange zest and the 1 (8 oz) tub of thawed frozen whipped topping until everything is evenly incorporated and smooth.

Final Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or for a minimum of 2 hours before serving. This allows the pudding to fully set and the flavors to meld.

Serve: Top each serving with additional whipped cream and a fresh orange slice, if desired, for a beautiful presentation and extra citrusy flavor.

Enjoy this deliciously light and nostalgic Orange Push Pop Pudding!
