1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 medium onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 bell pepper, diced (optional)
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
½ cup sour cream
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
1–1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brown meat, drain fat.
Sauté onion, garlic, and pepper until soft (~5 min).
Stir in veggies, soup, sour cream, Worcestershire, parsley, salt, and pepper; cook 2–3 min.
Spread mixture in 9×13″ pan.
Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top.
Bake 25 min, then add cheese and bake 5–10 min until golden.
Rest 5 min before serving.
Notes
For extra crisp crust, broil briefly after cheese melts. Prep filling ahead for a fast reheat.
